Join us this Feb-brr-uary half term for Winter Wonders Week! Featuring an indoor snowy wonderland filled with adventure for the ultimate cool day out. With a giant toboggan slide, indoor snowboarding, inflatable snow globe, arts and crafts, fantastic creative workshops and more!

Then set off on an outdoor trail to explore the park on foot before meeting our amazing animals and enjoying a full day of Longleat's favourite attractions.

Yes, New for 2024- we now have EV charging points at Longleat.

Located in Silver Birch Car Park, we charge 0.70p per kWh, uses 7.4 kW chargers and we accept contactless payment only.

We ask that you provide your own charging cable.

Longleat is located on the Wiltshire/ Somerset border. Close to Bath, Warminster and Salisbury.

Vehicles such as soft top convertibles, cars with soft vinyl sunroofs and motorbikes are not allowed in the Safari Park for the safety of both our guests and the animals in our collection. Vinyl Tent coverings are also not allowed in the Safari Drive-Through.

With regards to roof boxes, they must be solid, secure and locked, no loose parts on the outside and you do take them through at your own risk.

We are able to accommodate pickup trucks (as long as the bed is empty or sealed), as well as larger vehicles such mini-buses, transit vans and motorhomes (as long as there is nothing attached to the outside).

The final decision on the suitability of a vehicle will be made by our Arrivals team on the day of your visit.

Please do note that you enter the safari park and other animal areas at your own risk. Longleat accepts no responsibility for damage, accident or loss to persons, vehicles or property caused by any animal, other than in respect of death or injury caused by negligence.

 

Manual wheelchairs and mobility scooters are available for hire (subject to availability).

As we have a limited amount available, we would strongly advise you contact us before visiting and reserving your wheelchair or scooter. You can contact us on 01985 844400.

Both are available to rent from Park opening until 30 minutes before the Park close.

Pre-booked wheelchairs and scooters can be collected from the Longleat Guest Services (a short distance from the accessible parking bays in both Silver Birch and Lime Trees Car Parks).

Please note a rental agreement will need to be signed before hire, and all wheelchairs and mobility scooters must be collected and returned to Guest Services within the available time above. 

Mobility Scooters are charged at £20 per day.
Manual Wheelchairs are charged at £10 per day.

You are welcome to bring your own pushchair.

Pushchairs are also now available for hire (subject to availability).

As we have a limited amount available, we would strongly advise you contact us before visiting and reserving pushchair. You can do this by emailing enquiries@longleat.co.uk or contact us on 01985 844400. Both are available from 10am- 30 minutes before the park closes.

Single Strollers are charged at £10 per day

Double strollers are charged at £15 per day

  • Longleat House, Jungle Cruise, Longleat Railway and the Hedge Maze are not accessible to pushchairs. Pushchairs may be left at the relevant attraction pushchair park for the duration of your visit to that attraction. Pushchairs are left at your discretion and Longleat accepts no liability for loss or damage to any pushchair or personal items left unattended.
  • Longleat House pushchair parks are located at both the front and rear (close to the entrance to Emma's Kitchen) of the House.
  • Some pushchair parks are not under cover.

Longleat has many walkthrough areas to enjoy which don't require you to have a vehicle. Adventure attractions include the Hedge Maze, Rockin' Rhino, the Adventure Castle, the Longleat Railway and Little Explorers Garden. Animal areas that may be enjoyed on foot include Jungle Kingdom, Monkey Temple, Jungle Cruise, Koala Creek, Animal Adventure and Family Farmyard.

You will not be able to visit the Safari Park individually if you arrive via taxi/drop off, a soft top car, motorbikes or bicycles, or choose not to take your own vehicle through the Safari Park.
