There so much to see and do at Longleat, so we have provided a guide to help you get the most out of your day
Generally, we ask you to plan for the Safari Drive-through taking around 2 hours to complete, so we recommend leaving plenty of time in your day to enjoy it. Note that at peak times that the Safari may take longer.
Last entry for the Safari will vary depending on the date of visit. Last entry times can be reviewed at the below link. Please allow 10 minutes to drive to the Safari Park entrance from our main car parks, and 15 minutes from our main entrance.
If your party are arriving at Longleat at different times, please ensure all parties have a record of the booking reference, access to the QR code or a copy of the reference e-mail. Each group will the have their part of the booking redeemed as and when they arrive. Please note that we do require all guests to arrive together should there be Armed Forces, Emergency Services/Blue Light or Membership discount attached to their booking as proof must be provided upon arrival in relation to these discounts.
Longleat is a cashless site, and we can only take payments via debit/credit card and smartphone apps such as ApplePay/GooglePay in all areas.

We also provide an outdoor picnic area, as well as limited seating around the Main Square and African Village which is free to use. When the weather is appropriate, there is also extensive lawns which may be enjoyed for a picnic.
We do not allow the use of barbeques, camping stoves or other cooking equipment on the estate for the safety and conservation reasons
With many shops to choose from, including everything from tasty treats to cuddy replicas of some of our most famous animal residents, there is something to suit everyone.
African Traders - Found at the African Village in our Safari Drive-Through. The unique range of gifts on offer here aren’t all available elsewhere on the park.
Nature's Kingdom - Located opposite our Hedge Maze. Home to soft toy versions of many of your animal favourites from the Park.
Out of the Wild - Conveniently located in the Main Square. Offers a wide array of Longleat souvenirs and gifts, as well as useful items such as basic first aid supplies, sun cream, and everyday essentials.
Lord Bath's Sweet Shop - Located just off the Main Square. This Victorian style shop stocks a fantastic range of old school, retro sweets.
Emma's Kitchen - Locate at the rear of Longleat House. Emma, Lady Bath, has curated an exciting attraction celebrating more than 400 years of cooking and creating recipes at Longleat.
Lady Bath's Shop - Also located to the rear of Longleat House. Home to a wonderful range of jewellery as well as Longleat branded souvenirs and quirky homewares.

All of our advertised attractions are now open. This includes the Safari Drive-through (last entrance at 2pm), African Village, Koala Creek, Animal Adventure, Jungle Kingdom, Bat Cave, Jungle Cruise, Family Farmyard, Rockin' Rhino, the Adventure Castle, Little Explorers Garden, the Longleat Hedge Maze, Longleat Railway and the grounds and gardens. Longleat House is also available to ticket holders and members through pre-booked 60 minute tours. Please note that some attractions may have amended closes due to low light levels in winter times.
We do offer the opportunity to feed our giraffes, sea-lions, deer and lorikeets.
Giraffe feeding is normally available from May until September, and runs from 10.30am to 11.30am each day, with a second feed between 2pm and 3pm on peak dates only.
Our other feeding opportunities will normally be available throughout the day over the course of the whole year, but are dependent on the animals choosing to feed.
Longleat provides interactive experiences with some of our animals and birds to enrich your understanding and enjoyment during your visit. These activities have been risk assessed to ensure that measures are in place for hygiene and to prevent serious injury. We cannot guarantee that minor contact such as a nibble or peck won’t occur.
A limited daily Safari Bus Service can be booked online as an additional extra to your entry ticket, or on the day of your visit at Guest Services (located in the Main Square) subject to availability, with a per person cost of £10.95 (for those aged 3yrs+). Under 3's do require a ticket, but there is no charge for this. Children under 16 may not ride the Safari Bus without adult supervision.
Soft top or open top cars, motorbikes and bicycles are not allowed in the Safari Park. Some other limitation apply which are assessed on a case by case basis (such as caravans and campervans with non-glass windows). We advise all guests who do not have suitable transport to arrive early on site to secure Bus tickets so as to avoid disappointment.
- The Safari Bus Service can accommodate one wheelchair user per trip.
- Pushchairs are not able to be taken on the tour, but can be left secured and under cover at the bus stop for the duration of the Safari Bus trip.
- Guests are free to bring drinks on the service, but food cannot be consumed on the bus.
- Buses run daily at 10.15am and 1.45pm, with tickets available for purchase up to 15 minutes before advertised start time. Additional services may also be available on peak dates.
- The Safari Bus Service is not available to guests who have purchased House & Garden tickets (Main Season) or Non-Safari and Twilight tickets (Festival of Light season.
- Longleat reserve the right to change times or remove the bus service without prior warning
Access to the ground floor of the spectacular Longleat House as self guided tour is included as part of our Park ticket. Guided tours covering both floors of the House are also available as an additional extra that can added on to an entry ticket.
As there is limited spaces available, we advise booking the guided tours in advance online when purchasing a day ticket or reserving membership visits. Should we have remaining availability, on the day booking is available via Guest Services.
Should you primary interest in visiting be the House, visitors can purchase a dedicated House & Gardens ticket, which includes a guided tour as part of the cost.

Longleat is an all weather attraction, and is made up of a variety of indoor, covered and fully outdoor areas. We advise checking the forecast before visiting, and dressing appropriately based on this information.

Baby changing facilities are located at the entrance to the Safari Drive-Through, in the Adventure Castle, in two locations just off the Main Square and in the Chameleon Tree restaurant.
Yes. Accessible parking bays can be found in Lime Trees Car Park, with a large number of bays also located in Silver Birch Car Park.
Please display your Blue Badge (or equivalent) when using the accessible bays.
Smoking and vaping is strictly prohibited on site, except in the designated areas in the African Village and adjacent to The Chameleon Tree Coffee House. They can be located via the Park Map boards or via the Longleat App. If you're unsure, please feel free ask a Team Member during your visit..
We ask that you keep your reference e-mail to hand should you have booked online, or your receipt should you have purchased on the gate, as proof of entry while on site.
Guests are more than welcome to leave the Park and return within the same day under the same ticket. Please keep your booking details or receipt on hand, as you will need to provide evidence of your tickets upon re-entry.
There is no additional charge for parking at Longleat, which is located within the site.
